Today I discovered I suffer from Dyscalculia, or rather, I self-diagnosed myself with it. What is that, you might ask? Let me explain:
Dyscalculia is a math learning disability that impairs an individual's ability to learn number-related concepts, perform accurate math calculations, reason and problem solve, and perform other basic math skills. Dyscalculia is sometimes called “number dyslexia” or “math dyslexia.
Incredible, though- I used to be a math genius in school when I was younger. Somewhere along the way trouble began. So, what happened? That is what I am trying to figure out and for that purpose, I will launch my own personal investigation. I deserve to know the truth so I can resolve this particular issue and move on.
10/29/2020 Update- I am still searching for answers to this dilemma, but now I have a better understanding of the situation. This is an ongoing process.
